Spanning an area of 23.22 square kilometers, Adat Grama Panchayat is a land of scenic beauty surrounded by Kole wetlands. Three hills—Adat Kunnu, Chettikunnu, and Vilangan Kunnu—along with valleys and plains create a magnificent landscape.

Laterite and gravelly soils are found in elevated areas, fertile alluvial soil in lower areas, and clay in the paddy fields. Agriculture forms the primary economic foundation of the panchayat.
