Choorakkattukara Sree Durga Temple
Choorakkottukavu is a famous Bhagavathy temple located in Choorakkattukara village of Thrissur district, Kerala. The place was once filled with bamboo forests, which led to the name Choorakkattukara. The Goddess is worshipped here in the form of Mahishasura Mardini. The Bhagavathy idol is believed to be a self-manifested (Swayambhu) presence at this sacred place. Since the temple represents the concept of Vanadurga, the absence of a roof above the sanctum sanctorum is the unique feature of this temple.

Adat Ambalamkavu Bhagavathy Temple
Adat Ambalamkavu Bhagavathy Temple is a famous place of worship situated in Adat village of Thrissur district. The main deity worshipped here is Bhagavathy, representing Adi Parashakti. Muthuvara Shiva Temple
Muthuvara Mahadeva Temple is an ancient temple situated at Muthuvara in Adat Grama Panchayat, Thrissur district. This temple, included among the 108 Shiva temples, is an excellent example of Kerala-Dravidian architectural style. The main deity of this west-facing temple is Lord Shiva in a fierce form after Daksha Yaga. Lord Mahavishnu and Lord Ganesha are also worshipped as important deities. According to legend, the idol was consecrated by Lord Parasurama. The major annual celebration of the temple is Maha Shivaratri, celebrated on the Chaturdashi day of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Kumbham. The temple is managed by the Cochin Devaswom Board.

Puzhakkal Dharmasastha Temple
Puzhakkal Dharmasastha Temple is a famous temple located in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is situated on the banks of Puzhakkal River at Puzhakkal, near the boundary of Adat Grama Panchayat and Thrissur Corporation, on the Guruvayur - Kunnamkulam - Kozhikode route, about five kilometres north-west of Thrissur city. Lord Dharmasastha, worshipped as the main deity, attracts many devotees to this temple. The Bali Tharpanam (ritual offerings for ancestors) conducted in the river near the temple is a special feature. During the Sabarimala pilgrimage season, some devotees visiting Guruvayur Temple also visit this temple. Apart from Prabha Satyaka Sametha Sastha, deities including Ganapathi, Durga, Bhadrakali, Rakteshwari, Nagadevathas and Brahmarakshas are also worshipped here.

Puranattukara St. Sebastian's Church
Puranattukara St. Sebastian's Church is a church known for its spiritual activities and social services. The church is located about two kilometres west of Muthuvara on the Thrissur-Kunnamkulam road. Until 1955, the Christians of Puranattukara and Adat region depended on Ambakad, the mother church, for all spiritual and religious education needs. Due to the lack of travel facilities, Sunday Mass, baptism, anointing of the sick, funeral services and religious education could not be conducted on time. These difficulties encouraged the believers of Puranattukara to establish their own church.

Adat Mahadeva Temple
Adat Shiva-Vishnu Temple is located in Adat village of Thrissur district. It is believed to be one of the 108 Shiva temples consecrated by Lord Parasurama. Here, Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvathi and Lord Vishnu are worshipped in separate shrines, but both are considered as one temple complex. Hence it is known as Shiva-Vishnu Temple. Sub-deities including Ganapathi, Dakshinamurthy, Sastha, Sree Krishna, Nagadevathas and Brahmarakshas are also worshipped here. The major festivals of the temple include Shivaratri celebrated in the month of Kumbham, Ashtami Rohini in the month of Chingam and Ayyappan Vilakku during the month of Vrischikam. These temples are under the management of the famous Chemmangat and Kurur Mana families of Adat. The Shiva temple belongs to Chemmangat Mana and the Vishnu temple belongs to Kurur Mana.
